ABQ Ride Positions Available - WorkKeys Required.


The City of Albuquerque has ongoing openings for ABQ Ride drivers for Motor Coach Operator & Sun Van Chauffeurs. Both positions REQUIRE the following WorkKeys assessments and minimum scores:
Reading for Information - Level 4
Locating Information – Level 3
Workplace Observation – Level 2


The minimum qualifications including the WorkKeys required scores are as follows:

Motor Coach Operator:
This position requires the following minimum Work Keys Scores:
Reading for Information: Level 4
Locating Information: Level 3
Workplace Observation: Level 2
Minimum experience:
One (1) year of driving experience required; professional
delivery/sales or business related driving
preferred, to include (1) year experience in
customer service and/or dealing with the general
public. Must be at least 19 years of age.
Experience in the transportation of passengers
desirable.
Additional Requirements:
Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within
(6) months from date of hire.
Possession of a valid New Mexico Commercial
Driver's License (CDL) class B with P Endorsement
within a two (2) week period from completion of
City training. Must be able to maintain CDL once
obtained. Must pass Department of Transportation
(DOT) physical exam and required drug testing.
Must successfully complete Motor Coach Operator
training.


Sun Van Chauffeur Driver:
This position requires the following minimum Work Keys Scores:
Reading for Information: Level 4
Locating Information: Level 3
Workplace Observation: Level 2
Minimum experience:
Experience driving an American with Disabilities' (ADA)
accessible vehicle is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Possession of a valid driver's license (class D for the
past (3) continuous years).
Possession of a valid City Operator's permit (COP)
within six (6) months from date of hire.
Must pass physical exam and required drug testing
and successfully complete Sun Van Driver’s
training.
