Perform basic repairs and adjustments to irrigation systems and controllers; work with and assist higher level staff with more complex installation, maintenance and repair tasks; check and adjust automatic controllers according to season or as directed and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED. Specialized training in sprinkler repair, irrigation systems maintenance or a related field is desirable. Must successfully complete Irrigation Specialist Training orientation within six (6) months and Irrigation Specialist Training Program Level I one (1) year from date of hire. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver’s License.
