Perform administrative law enforcement duties at assigned police facility and/or command center.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED plus previous police experience required. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire. Possession of a current New Mexico Law Enforcement Certification required. Possession of a current New Mexico LE Firearms Instructor Certification or comparable certification formally recognized by the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.
This is a safety sensitive position and requires a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and random drug/alcohol testing. This is a temporary position. Position requires: Background check, Pre-employment physical, TB Test.
