POSITION SUMMARY: Support both the executive and legislative branches of government, supervise, direct and perform independent audit assessments in support of City departments and programs consistent with the provisions and requirements outlined in the Accountability in Government Ordinance and professional standards.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, auditing, business administration or a related field, plus eight (8) years of professional/managerial accounting/auditing experience to include five (5) years direct supervisory experience in a management and/or administrative capacity. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
