Plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Community Events Division of the Cultural Services Department including the coordination of food, entertainment and security and the scheduling of activities and reserving of sites; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies and provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Cultural Services.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, recreation planning or a related field, plus seven (7) years event planning experience to include four (4) years direct supervisory experience in a management and/or administrative capacity. Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
