Oversee and coordinate environmental compliance activities and regulatory requirements for assigned department and/or facility; oversee the storage, handling of fuels and hazardous materials, and storage, handling and disposal of hazardous waste for department facilities and perform a variety of administrative, professional and technical tasks in support of assigned area of responsibility.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree with major course work in hydro-geology, natural science, civil engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of administrative regulatory compliance experience to include two (2) years direct supervisory experience in a management and/or administrative capacity. Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
This is a safety sensitive position and requires a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and random drug/alcohol testing. Position requires: Background check.

Coordinate and direct regulatory compliance programs
Recommend and implement goals and objectives for providing regulatory compliance
Operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing and spreadsheet applications
Read, understand and interpret governmental regulations
Prepare material and make public presentations involving complex technical information
Interpret and explain City policies and procedures
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work including the general public
