Supervise and coordinate security access control functions; recommend, implement and ensure compliance with all Transportation Security directives; coordinate airport security requirements with appropriate government agencies, airlines and tenants; develop and implement security training related to access control activities for airport employees; serve as a member of the airport security consortium and incident command staff.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, communication, aviation administration, information systems or related field plus four (4) years experience in airport/airline operation, security, law enforcement or information systems including three (3) years database administration/management experience to include two (2) years of direct supervisory experience in a management and/or administrative capacity. Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Airport Security Coordinator Certificate from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) within six (6) months of date of hire.
Position requires: Background check, Fingerprint clearance, FBI Criminal History.

Select, supervise, train and evaluate staff
Maintain the confidentiality of the information received
Communicate clearly and concisely
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
