Scope
| Applies to all City employees who possess or apply for credentials (e.g., User ID and password) to access City information technology assets. |
Standard
| The annual employee information technology security certification process shall include questions from the following subject matter areas:
- User IDs and Passwords
- Software Licensing
- Spam and unwanted E-mail
- Computer viruses, worms, and spyware
- Public information
- Identity theft
- Document retention
- City information technology policies
- Reporting incidents of computer abuse
- Appropriate use of City property
