Scope
Expedite the procurement process for City standard IT equipment.
Policy
Any standard IT commodity purchase which meets City-approved standards, regardless of cost, may be approved by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). (A TRC form is required.)

The CIO has the discretion to forward the request to the TRC/ISC for approval.

All City standard IT commondities will be identified in a standard.
Rationale
Generally, City standard IT commodities do not require further in depth analysis or approval processes.
